Hello there. My name is Jaxx, and I'm new to the forums. I am the owner of an 09 Black Pontiac Vibe 1.8. I have been toying with the notion for setting the car up rally style, and was curious if anyone has done any work in this direction, where they got started, and how it looks so far ( pics) Thanks for any info.

not an 09but there was a member who did that to the earlier model.

Welcome!Would this set-up be for a dedicated off-road car or just some saturday fun?I'd start with suspension and tires. 1-1/2 to 2" lift, softer springs and shocks, beefy (but not oversized) tires...

Yes what are your intentions? are you actually going to race it? If so there is a lot of work in your near future? yes the small lift would be good and some tires with more sidewall. Then there is the option to move around the interior to make it easier to reach everything. is yours a manual? if so and you really taking this serious you may consider raising the gas pedal to be even with the break and clutch. That will ensure faster movement with the feet. You need a roll cage, if you want to compete. You may consider putting skid plates underneath. Let us know your plans with it and keep us updated on any progress
