Intake or drop in K&N filter

Post by 04chargedvibe »

Ok so ive gotta mixed answers to this questions from many of my mechanic friends so i thought id ask here. When i installed my S/C i put the the original air filter back on. Then when i asked around to get opinions some say that it runs better with the stock box and others say with the intake i had on it. So my question to yall is intake or OEM filter box?

Too many variables to consider ie. type of intake, filter, etc. The only way to get a true answer to your question is to dyno both set ups and compare the results.

every car that has a sc on it runs different. Some have experienced CEL's when running the turd piggy back and a sc with a cai. While others haven'tIf it was me I wouldn't run the turd piggy back with a cai.
