As in the light switches (I know my 05 mazda3 only the driver window switch lit up not anything else) .. Because none of the window switches light up nor does the lock or window lock button.. PLEASE HELP..Also CD player not working, I can hear it trying and it will eject a cd if i force it in....only did that to test it,,, if it is shot will a 2006 radio fit in place of it? Thanks

There is actually a light for the "Auto" on the drivers window. It's an led. if you have some soldering skills, it's a very easy fix. Just pay very close attention to the positioning of the LED and make sure the new one is in the sane position when you solder it on, otherwise it will not light up as LEDs are polarity sensitive.AFA the cd player not working. I'm really not sure. There are def some mbrs on the board will will be able to help you out other than simply stating to go with an aftermarket HU, although that is 9 times out of 10 the best solution.

Someone has a while ago. I've though about tapping into the existing LED light source and adding a few extras and see how it turns out. If I get around to it I'll def post pics and the outcome on here.**edit** sorry, I just reread your post and realize that you put passenger lol

You could get the area around teh switch to light up with proper LED placement. The LED on the Auto sign is REALLY dull in my car but I live with it.

I do remember someone doing a red LED install, but it was put in the top of the door handle recess, illumintating the light switch area below. I'll see if I can get a light under the switch itself to see how it illuminates from inside the door... but that will have to wait until it gets at least 25 degrees warmer. It's around 18 degrees outside. That's almost cold.

Thanks for all the info from everyone, good to know that not a whole lot is supposed to light up on the door, just the driver window... like my 05 mazda 3 did... in that case .. nah not going to try soldering.. that could just be dangerous knowing me!! i will just live with it!!
