This is a biggie for them, for sure... When I was at one of the local Toyota Dealers purchasing some oil filters and etc, one of the techs doing a frame swap for Toyota Tacoma. It was a huge recall I guess, the frames were rusting. Less expensive to replace the frame than to buy back all the vehicles.

It's only 3.8 million, that's not that big of a recall, right? Looking forward to seeing how CR spins this one, a recall of this magnitude from the bestest car company ever! The publicity from the high profile Lexus accident probably helped get this one out. They were buying back the rustbucket Tacomas from their unfortunate souls who bought them as of a couple years ago. Now they're just replacing the entire frame? I would be one ticked off owner, I would rather have them pay to take that piece of junk back than fix it if it were in the poor condition some of those trucks were getting in.
