amp popping on vehicle turn off.

Hey all. New here with a question. I just installed a JVC kd-6oo HU in my 2006 vibe with M & T. hooked it up with rca to the speaker wire going to the amp. No white noice or buzzing . The sound is great except the pop when the vehicle is turned off. the blue & white remote wire is hooked up . No popping on turn on. All grounds are good. Looking for any advice to resolve this . I have read about a Stinger pop stopper. Has anybody used it will it work. I have also read that there is a possibilty the the HU remote turn on wire has 12V and the factory Amp only needs 5V. I dont know if thats true or if it would make any difference in the popping. Pleasse help.
