Hidden Hitch clearance issue

I installed my round tube Hidden Hitch probably a year and a half ago, maybe more. As time has passed I am finding my muffler is striking the hitch, causing a very annoying rattle. I think it's because the exhaust system is aging and the muffler is riding "backwards" more than when new. Anyway, if anyone else has this issue or can offer a suggestion I'd appreciate it.

Some members scrapped a piece of coolant hose to their hitch with hose clamps I think - the metal hits the rubber and it does not make a rattle.

You could get a new muffler hanger for the rear It is a rubber and they stretch with age
