Regarding my 2003 VIBE BASE (with proper TRD part # accessories):I've had the TRD sport muffler for a few weeks. Today I had the TRD CAI installed by my local mechanic.A couple hours later the "check engine" light came on and is staying on.I had a parts store use their tester. It showed air flow/oxygen sensor #1 problem. The Vibe should act exactly as a Matrix I would hope. Anybody else have this problem? Do I need to go to a Toyota dealer that sells TRD parts to have them look at it?Thanks for any help,

My CEL is on with my TRD exhaust and TRD CAI. I ran the exhaust for over 1,000 miles before the CAI went on, and ran the CAI for over 1,500 trouble free miles. Then all of a sudden, THAR SHE BLOWES!!! (Sorry, a little nautical humor) The basic plumbing of these things I think would be very similar. I suspect in your case, the mechanic maybe didn't get a hose on tight enough from the get-go? In my case, ( I'm hoping) something just came loose. I hope this isn't a trend developing here for the TRD intake. I plan on investigating this weekend and if I can't solve it, it goes back to stock and back to the dealer. I just don't have time for this horseing around right now... I'm afraid if it comes off, it may end up staying off.
