Okay, before you laugh at me im not a car person.Im replacing the rotars and pads on the two front wheels on my 2006 Vibe.Unfortunatly im either to stupid or not strong enough to do this myself as I cant get the first wheel off. Is there anything that I have to do specially? I have taken the 5 lugnuts off, raised the car, and yet the wheel still will not come off. I took the pontiac center peice off the rim and noticed some rusty *** thing in there, do I need to do something witth that before it comes off? Thanks,Scott
One of these might help if it's stuck. This will definitely help with the rotor as well, they are notoriously sticky. just give it a whack on the back side, see if it does the trick. Welcome to the forum, by the way

Yeah I finally got it off, just put on my steel toes and booted the thing till it fell off. was a really funny sight. Also, whats the best way to get the calipur off? Thanks for the welcome I just got bought this car off my dad, so im learning how to work on it.
You didn't say what tools you have but after you jack up the car, do not depend upon only the jack to keep the car up. Get a jackstand, blocks of wood (not concrete block, they can crush apart under intense pinpoint weight), bricks, even the tire you took off as a poor save your life device. You don't want the car to fall to the ground should the jack fail. You want it NOT to fall or to stop falling before it crushes you.NEVER crawl under or put body parts under an unsupported car.Work safely, especially if you are kicking and banging on things, it is easy to dislodge a jacked up car.Dave
