My daughter is in the Navy stationed in SanDiego. My wife recently went out there for a visit and they went car shopping. She was out growing her Firebird (Just had a baby boy 12/7/02) and wanted something with a little more room. I was glad to hear she choose the Vibe. The deal she got was pretty good. Neptune base Vibe with auto, moon and tunes, power package and alloy's. sticker was $19300. After the GM discount (Grandma, my Mother-in-law is a GM employee), $2000. cash back, $750. military discount and $700. rebate on the moon and tunes she only paid $14200. for the car. And that was before her trade. Oh well I e-mailed her GenVibe.com and I hope we will be hearing from her. So far she loves her Vibe!!!
I have a young son as well that requires a car seat. I love how they did the anchors for the car seat in the rear cargo area. It is a great car with a lot of room. She will definately enjoy it!

At $5,000 under MSRP a good choice and a good value indeed. Pity those who paid much more.
