Heavy duty (doodie?) cargo cover

Post by spiffy1001 »

I have been considering making a cargo cover for some time, inspired by the ingenious use of shower curtains in a previous post. However, this weekend my wife told me that we would be traveling long distance in her Highlander rather than the Vibe (despite the Vibe's satellite radio and better mileage) because it is a pain to bend over and change diapers in the Vibe's cargo area versus the Highlanders taller cargo area.So my question is, has anyone created a cargo cover that can safely hold a 40 pound toddler who likes to wiggle?

Some L-brackets, some plywood/OSB/MDF and some carpet and you could be in business... I know plenty of others have made them for the old body style, but I don't know about the new, you could be the FIRST...!!!!
