That seems a little early for a meet...? 10 a.m.?? Yikes... You weren't able to find like an open parking lot anywhere?

Well, you don't have to be there right when it starts Cathy. I know you are coming from a long ways away. Do not feel obligated to be there right at 10 a.m. We would like to see as many people come as possible without too much of an inconvienience to them. I still hope that you will come.

I would go to either the Michigan or Ontario meets, but I've already heavily booked my summer with smaller trips, and I think my boss is getting peeved at my numerous time off requests...maybe next year though!

Any idea how late this is going to run? Is the dealer going to kick us off at a certain time? I ask because I said I was going to come, but my stupid doctor just moved an appointment I've been trying to get for over a month now to noon on the day of the meet. I could still probably make it there by 2:00 or 3:00

When I talked to the dealership a few weeks ago, I asked if we could stay past their closing time of 3 P.M. and he said that was not problem. So as far as I know, we will probably be there until 5 to 6 at the latest. We are looking at going somewhere for dinner after that as well as a group. So by all means, you should still come.

Wait!! Are you serious---1 PM --I thought it would just get going --If I am correct I read a previous post from someone in Ill. that said she would get there at about the same time and the comment was that we would be there a better part of the afternoon. I work nights so getting up early is hard....but when I get up ,you can bet your bottom dollar -I WILL BE THERE!!!!! James

I think primetime for our event will be between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. There are a few of us who are going to arrive around 9 a.m. though. But that will probably be myself, rasermon and silverawd. As far as how late it will go, I think it will be around 4 p.m. After that, a bunch of us are planning on going to dinner somewhere together. Not sure where yet though. I am going to look into an Applebee's or something like that. I'll let everyone know.

I just found out that there is an Applebee's right on Silver Parkway, probably just down the street from the dealership. We can either go there, or drive somewhere else in a train. I think maybe we should do a loop through town there in a train. That would be great to see so many Vibes in a line driving around! Myself and the other Michigan moderators will talk about it and let everyone know. Only 3 more days!

Expect one hung-over Pablo to be there. This is the time that rasermon and myself are showing up. Since we coordinated this event (with silverawd's help), we are going to arrive early to make sure everything is set. I also wanted to arrive early to have some time to detail my car before everyone gets there. 9 a.m. is not the time it starts, nor do I expect anyone to be there. It is totally cool if members start showing up around 10, 11, 12 or later. We will definately still be there. It is going to be a great time! If anyone has any further questions, please IM me or leave a post.

Yeah, I know, I wasn't planning on showing up at 9, it was more in referece to you guys getting there at 9. But waking up at 9 from my house is going to be rough as I usually sleep in Saturday mornings (recover from Friday night).

Well, try not to hit it so hard Friday night. I understand the celebration though. My wife is getting the same two weeks off. She works for the Lear corporation making prototype seats for Cadillac.
