2005 Vibe Blower Motor or Blower Motor Resistor?

Post by rjstraightiv »

Hello! I just joined the forum...wish I'd known about it earlier. Should have been told about it when I bought the Pontiac...anyway.So, I turned the car on today and my blower fan did not work at any speed setting. I've been reviewing posts on the site, and am not sure whether the failure is in my resistor or motor (since the unit is not working at the default high speed setting)? Some other info...when I am moving I do get a 'breeze' through the vents, almost as if the fan were on. And if I have the AC on, I can even feel the AC in this 'breeze'.I would like to fix myself, and just need to know which part to order and relace...resistor or blower! Thanks! RJ
