Yes, I'm going to see GWAR, FINALLY... Yes, I'm a huge fan of those freaks, have been since the early 90's when they put out their most popular album "Skumdogs of the Universe" Love them or hate them, the artistic ability cannot be denied.. lol... (they'll just kill you if you do...lol...)For those that need a little wake up... I give you GWAR... Warning, the links below may be possibly semi-unsafe (NSFW) for certain people to view, graphic in nature, comical in stature.. lol.. Never was into them, but I knew who they were.Ok everyone, I'm home safe, I was not slaughtered by GWAR (constant running joke, GWAR kills everyone, it's all theatrics.. ) Though I was totally slayed by the show, even if I didn't know some of the songs that well.. I haven't herd much about GWAR really either, they aren't what one would call "main stream" though... They got a lot of air time back in the day on Jerry Springer and Sally Jessy, that was in the 90's though..... Always LOVED the album I mentioned above... the rest, well... not quite as good... I didn't realize until last night... This was GWARS 25th anniversary tour...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahahaha, cool! I lost interest in them after We Kill Everything, how are they these days? I still enjoy albums like America Must Be Destroyed, This Toilet Earth, Ragnarok, Carnival Of Chaos, etc... And their side project a long time ago, X-COPS was absolutely hilarious. I still have a couple of their VHS tapes laying around, even the one where Sleazy P. Martini had his talk show - he was the coolest. lmaoNever been to one of their shows, although I would still probably enjoy it.

Colonel, I'm totally shocked and elated at the same time that this seems to be the one, super awesome, thing we've ever had in common... lol.. Many of the pics I can't show due to graphic nature, but an IM is on the way to both of you.. I still have more pics to upload, and a lot of them kinda suck.. IT was hard to try and take pics AND NOT get the camera soaked... lol...
Hopefully I can make it to Spokane for the Saturday show at the end of November! And hopefully the Canadian dollar goes up... I have no problem paying for cheap american gas at an = exchange rate!!!
awesome pics man. Looks like a good time. I actually had a hard time finding a pic of Gwar to post here too. Didn't know if the Genvibe powers that be would have issues with fake bloody testicles or not. Probably.

People must think I'm totally nutz now, I mean seriously how fun could it be being drenched in fake blood... Well, I say, it's one of the most amazing things to ever happen to me... Once you are standing there, covered, feeling very primal, everything else seems very distant, unimportant.... You are then bound by the fact that you now have something in common with most of the people in the place, it's interesting to say the least.. And a lot of people don't understand the core values of something as totally obscure as the GWAR experience.. They takes everything wrong with society today and DESTROYS IT.. It's only something that EVERYONE wishes they could do, deep down, in the dark parts of the heart... They just bring it up and stick it in your face for a moment. Let's you bask in it, then the lights come on, you leave, go home, wash it off (sorta, i'm still pink in places..lol) And you continue on, relieving that primal urge to destroy the ills of society, in a relatively safe manner... I've been to a LOT, I mean a LOT of concerts, mostly metal and this is in my top 5 now... and I've been to some incredible shows... (Clash of the Titans: Alice in Chains, Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeath... hard to get more amazing...lol)
