I read in the Forum about A/C systems not getting cold enough. That the problem might be an adjustment under the passenger-side dash involving the cable that operates the heater. Sure enough, I got under there and saw that the damper was not fully closing without a slight adjustment to the heater cable to ensure the damper goes fully shut. Well... IT WORKED!!!! Where before I thought the A/C was needing recharge (I have a 2008) I can now freeze meat with the A/C! It's great and I thank you guys for the info! THANK YOU!!!!!
Wait, what thread on A/C cable. crap I gotta go search for it cause my A/C has been less and less cool. I have to run it at 3/4 fan as cold as it can with the recirc to get it to feel somewhat ok.I hope this plays towards the Matrix too.
Also, check your cabin air filter. I had mine blowing at max and only a little air was coming out. It sounded like it was blowing a lot of air but when I opened my glovebox, I heard the whooshing air a lot louder, like it was getting blocked or something. I took the glovebox out to find all the original owner's personal information and money (2 dollar bills!) But the problem was the cabin air filter was so clogged that it broke inside and there were so many leaves and sticks and pine needles, it filled my entire passenger seat. I also have a picture of it if anyone wants to see the condition of the filter. Pretty bad!

I'll keep looking, but if somebody else knows where it is, post a link.
