My 2004 Vibe came with slate color carpets. I don't know how they looked when they were new, but that particular color to me looked kinda 'blah'Some of you here saw me dye the carpeted floormats black and that came out great, but once in the car the carpeting looked worn and more drab than ever before.I have a solution:Project took 10 minutes, I also had a rag with a solvent to wipe up excess spray on the plastic parts before the carpet dye dried. Here are before and after shots:BEFORE:AFTER:BEFORE:AFTER:Stuff dries to touch in 30 minutes, and you can use after 3 hours.Quite happy with the results for about $10.
Looks amazing! Did you find it made a mess? I only have a single parking stall to work with at my apt building and cranky "non-car-enthusiasts" parking beside me.lol Did you take anything out before spraying? like the centre console? to ensure that you didn't have old carpet peeking? or any use of a tooth brush to get all the nooks and cranny's? Is it literally just point and spray ? What store did you find that stuff in ? Home depot? I am so sick of my dingy-a$re carpet, and salt stains are killing me....and if it's that easy that would make my day. Thanks in advance

Just follow can's instructions, 'clean carpet, use a brush and 'comb' forward, spray, then comb back and respray.'I got this stuff online, easy just google.MSAGRO
very nice...so nice I might attempt this myself someday...off topic but hey what headunit is that? EDIT>>>Nevermind about the headunit just did some browsing on your previous posts...thought it was that unit..very nice choice
I wanna see what it looks like after a few rainstorms or mud. Floormats can only protect so much. Not a bad idea but I could see this stuff fading and coming off.P.S. - now you can go get some Rustoleum and clean up the top of the washer
LOL whelan,Good eye for noticing the washer. It's a garage unit.Great for a worktable also..I have used this stuff before and have not noticed any fading in time.It actually dyes the carpet permanantly.I have carpeted floor mats to protects and rubber ones for foul weather here in portland.
