As I remember it from when rasermon did lots of work on chat tools for genvibe, the issue is that the zeroforum software genvibe runs makes it difficult, if not impossible to integrate other things, such as chat. The chat tool he chose is decent enough, but the only thing you can really do with it is pay for the upgraded service and then you could maybe display the number of people logged in to chat somewhere in the forum.The genvibe admins have looked at their options for using different forum software, but so far the task of converting all of the existing forum content is just too much, and it would be tragic to lose the last seven years worth of genvibe.Still, it would be nice to have a way to tie forum logins to chat logins and to better show real time chat status in the forum somewhere.
