It's so appalling that someone in the medical field took her confidential medical info and sold them to a sleazy publication. I hope that person got punished and never gets another job. Here we had a young mother-kids include an infant-that worked in a hospital and allegedly accessed an AIDS patient's records to take part in posting the info on myspace. The patient later died. The ex-employee is serving one year in jail.

I don't think much of her illness was private anymore unfortunately.

I was reading the story this morning, before all the Michael Jackson news, but she said she helped bust the person at the hospital who sold her medical info to the publication. I can't remember which I read this morning, I'll go look for it again. EDIT: NBC is confirming Michael Jackson. EDIT: Found it: (From Associated Press) "She struggled to maintain her privacy, but a UCLA Medical Center employee pleaded guilty in late 2008 to violating federal medical privacy law for commercial purposes for selling records of Fawcett and other celebrities to the National Enquirer."It's much easier to go through something and deal with it without being under a microscope," she told the Los Angeles Times in an interview in which she also revealed that she helped set up a sting that led to the hospital worker's arrest."
How long till we hear about Michael's membership in NAMBLA?The press won't be able to cover for him now as his family will begin fighting each other for a share of what little is left.

MJ's creditors were so looking forward to his 50 concert tour to make some money to pay his bills.

NAMBLA??? I didn't know he was a Marlin Brando lookalike! But they have two things in common now, both white and dead! - Sorry, but I have no sympathy for rich people going broke (and then biting the dust)
May they all rest in peace. Crazy how these things always come in 3's.I'll never forget listening to my sister's Thriller LP when I was a kid. That was a cool album... I must admit his stuff in the 70's and especially 80's was pretty alright. But later on, good grief -- freak show. It will be interesting to see what happens with the Beatles catalog... Although he already sold half of it to Sony. Will the tabloids that said he left it to Paul McCartney turn out being true?

The tonight show was best with Johnny and Ed, and Doc.Farrah will always look like that poster.Little Michael jackson sure had a crazed life. Hard to imagine anyone turning out stable and well adjusted with a childhood like his.

Actually four, my 94 year old grandmother. And she was better than all of the others! Seriously though, I feel bad for Farrah. After Michael passed, her name was not mentioend or barely mentioned, especially this mornings news, and she was a better person if you ask me. I am sure Michaels death will be ruled a drug overdose too. RIP Farrah!
I was umpiring a little league girls softball game yesterday when the news came across. The girl up to bat, which was the teams best player, is a huge MJ fan and another girl blurted out that he died. The girl ended up striking out. She came in and started crying and didn't get another hit her next two at bats. She made a couple errors in the field too. Regardless of what ppl feel about MJ I felt bad for her for losing and idol and seeing the affect it truly had on her.

I have trouble feeling much sympathy for ol' Jacko. His music, while important and all of that, was hugely overshadowed by the sideshow that he made of his life. Can't really blame the media for that one, as he used to make a habit of leaking made up stories about himself to the press to "create mystique" (i.e. the sleeping in an oxygen chamber story). Hanging out with Bubbles the chimp and young teens like Macaulay Culkin didn't help much, nor did the fact that he paid off the kids that accused him of molestation. People are already forgetting all of that, I guess, in favor of his "iconic" status, but there is something wrong with (by his own admission) deriving pleasure from sharing his bed with young boys, not to mention aggressively disfiguring himself. I think his story is sad, sure, but he's still a pedophile in my book and that will forever tarnish whatever talent he may have had.

Yes, no doubt MJ was talented and played an instrumental role in the music industry! His family, while had issues too, will always be known in the industry. In the 80's, who did not own a copy of Thriller? The guy was good, unfortunately like most Hollywood, stars, or living icons, he had issues and I think they finally took a toll on the guy. I also feel bad for his kids. I strongly feel his kids will have issues from his upbringing. Unless of course now that he is gone, possibly they will grow up to be normal and show their faces in public.
heartless joke.So Ed McMahon dies, gets to heaven, after a day or so God asks him how he likes it.Ed says "it's great, but I 'd like a really hot lady to keep me company. So when Farrah gets to Heaven, God says"Welcome to heaven, Is there anything I can get you?"Farrah says "I wish all the children in the world could be safe"

Too bad for the South Carolina governor that he didn't wait a couple days to come home and fess up, no one would have noticed. Here in SoCal in the LA media shadow, it is all MJ.

I used to be a huge MJ fan but after he started going nuts I quickly changed my outlook of him. The whole child molesting issue was and always will be a disgrace to his family name. True, his music and dance have changed the entertainment world forever...but his actions have far exceeded his claim to immortatility. Saddly, the very mention of his name brings nothing but a sour stomach and feelings of discust. His death however, is truly the paramedics fault! They transported him to the local Emergency Room where he was pronounced DOA. If the paramedics had used their heads and taken him to the local Childrens Hospital he would have instantaniously jumped out of the ambulance and put on a show!

I ran across this tonight: All of the media attention also is an issue for Iran too. And don't we still have a couple journalists in jail somewhere in like North Korea or something? And that one crazy guy over there said he wants to wipe us off the map. Na, not really important. With 24 hour news all over the place, you'd think they would be able to multitask. I had a hard time finding anything other than Michael Jackson "news." I know he's gone -- tell me what else is going on in the country and throughout the rest of the world.

He WAS the king of pop back in the day. I had the Thriller cassette tape playing all the time. He died to me back when he was accused & charged with child molestation then paid the the family off. Just goes to show that if you have anough money you can get away with just about anything. Here's another good(bad) MJ joke: I just heard he died of a heart attack when he heard that kmart had boys pants half off.RIP, Farrah. A far better human than Jacko...

The Oxy Clean guy was #4, and yesterday the 51 year old head of the Columbus Zoo, Jeff Swanagan died of a heart attack while mowing his lawn. Swanagan was the former head of and helped oversee the development of the Georgia Aquarium - the largest in the world. I recently read that the Columbus Zoo was named the #1 zoo in America. He will be missed. I need to mow my lawn today - wish me luck!
