New 09 Vibe Owner, anybody know of any good mud guards
Have had my new 09 Vibe for 1 week, 2.4, Jet Black, so far so good.Looking for some mud guards, the generic "custome" sets from auto parts stores dont fit so great and I see that GM has a set of after market "molded" parts but they're $90.I assume they will fit, but $90 seems high. Any other avaialble parts? Also, will a prior model rear cargo carpet fit the 09 model?

WELCOME!For cargo carpet, I don't think the earlier stuff will fit. Your best bet is to go to The Home Depot or Lowes and get some of the rubber backed carpet and cut it to size. I did that for mine and it cost me around $6.As far as mud flaps go I only know of the GM.

Molded mud flaps for $90 sounds pretty good to me.For a bit of a discount, you might try gmparts4u.com. Dealerfit.com has them but they are out of stock right now.

I ordered my GM molded mudflaps from GMPartsdirect.com. They retailed at $65, w/shipping- $78.40.But they are back oredered.The 09 Vibe has the rubber cargo mat for $90 also. I got that through the dealer at purchase but it sells at $65 from GMPartsdirect.com also.It is very well made and has Vibe logo and pontiac emblem. It is one sided though. I like the carpet in my Fusion Orange 04 model better. The rubber mat for the 09 doesn't have the wings to cover the rear sides of the area.

Well, that figures.I wanted to get the GT spoiler for mine. The first place I found it was at dealerfit.com for $228. I ordered it but it is on National back order.I then found it at gmparts4u.com for only $209 and because I was able to cancel the dealerfit order I re-ordered it just yesterday.Now I check out gmpartsdirect.com and they have it for $189! Also, they claim that they have the part in stock with a limited supply. So, now I'm trying to back out of the order from gmpartsdirect.

Dealerfit deleted the order but gmparts4u was able to get it so the rear spoiler is now on its way!
