2003 Vibe - No AC HEL

I have a 2003 Vibe, just bought it. AC does not blow cold. I check the Vent under the dash and its ok.The compressor clutch engages but does not disengage until you turn AC offMy friend has same year Matrix and his ac clutch turns off and on.Also the low sind hose gets really cold on his not mine,I hooked up a gauge to the low side with ac on and it shows about 34WHat is wrong???

I don't know AC service, don't know if 34 psi is acceptable or not. It might need more refirgerant.

I have a similar problem, does not blow cold air. But mine also does not blow much heat in the winter.Think they are related?

Same with my '04. I bought a $12 recharge can at Advanced and put it in. It now blows cool. Even at best, It will take time to cool the interior after the car has been sitting in 80 deg + sun.
