thank you but i still need to know what type of paint to use and how to paint it, do i sand it with sand paper or what, does it need primer, clear coat, gloss or something, and when i ask what kind i mean like high heat, or brand name or if it is a special plastic engine component paint?

As I IM'd you yesterday: Can't really say on what type to use as I haven't painted my engine plastics or interior parts. but if I were to do it, I would first sand the plastic pieces then use a good primer made for plastics then a high temp paint for the engine plastics.

I sanded my stuff down first. Then I applied a few coats of high heat engine primer. After that I used high heat engine paint, about 3-4 coats. I finished it off with some high heat clear coat. I havenever had a problem with it peeling or flaking off. Check out my garage link in my signature to see how my stuff came out if you like.

I'll send you a pm explaining it all later. I am at work right now and we don't need to get into it right here in this thread. I'll be happy to answer all your questions via pm later.

go to your local paint store. give them the paint code off your car and they will mix up a can of your color for you.
