2004 Pricing Out 5/6/03

Since production was starting this week, I checked to see if the dealers had pricing info for the 2004s Here is the scoop (US pricing):Base Prices and destination charges remain the same as end of production 2003s.Moon & Tunes up $325Power Group up $125DVD Nav System up $50Auto Trans up $3517" Wheels & Tires (GT) up $4017" Wheels & Tires (base) up $25All other options stay the sameXM Radio (New Option) $325 (requires subscription-US Only) Protection Package (new option-Side Air Bags & Security System) $575 ($675 with package savings of $100), which is $100 less then 2003.

I doubt if their actual COSTS are up much. The differences you list are probably mostly increased profit or negotiating room for the dealers. Unless they change the specific components in the Moon/Tunes package, there is nothing included that should jump the price $325. Now if they are including better speakers and a subwoofer, then maybe...KSNeptune

Something you need to look at when available - the wholesale prices. Sometimes the retail stays the same but the wholesale increases - so the discount you are going to get from the dealer will shrink. Do not think in this day and age that the MSRP even on an option would increase and the wholesale remain the same so the dealer has more margin. That just aint' happening!

Does the 2004 have the $2,000 rebate?
