I've been doin great, gym 5 days a week, cardio, abs, arms, etc. I even cut back on the types of food and amounts. Maintaining a good weight and thinning out. But I have this last little tiny bit to clear off. It's this little pudge, can't even call it a roll or blob cause it's just this little thing that is there. But it just won't go away. I've been doin ab work like crazy. Any ideas from the gym/health friendly.
You can't spot reduce, unfortunately. You can do all the ab work you want, but your body will lose fat from where it wants to lose fat. It would certainly be nice to be able to give it direction though. There may not be anything you can do -- that just may be the spot where your body wants to maintain its fat store. The only thing that you could try is just lose more weight, and hope that it comes off from that particular spot.
ugh i fell off the wagon once school started last week and I had a 4 day weekend and moving houses. Stress....arg so yeah. Try this!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...eddedIts like the jail "burpee" and doing 10, then 9, then 8 etc down to 1 is freaking hard. so do that daily or every other day mixed with cardio on the other days should help. you can also try a chin up bar, but with your arms lift up, then holding yourself bring your legs forward to a 90degree angle and hold...do a bunch of those. I also heard biking (real bike or machine) helps the love handles, but that was from this girl and I think most cardio itself helps.

Some of us don't mind a little extra cushion LOL, a little gray, etc.

If you increase the time/intensity of your ab workout, it will strengthen what you have, but will not burn more fat from that area.

You'll have to give up drinking. Alcohol pounds are the easiest to go on the waist and the hardest to remove. So, take your pick: is flushing out the arteries with your two glasses of red wine a night more important than your six-pack-abs??? NOT FOR ME IT ISN'T Where's my box of wine????
a new study showed that 1 glass of wine or 1 beer a day was better for bone mass than milk/calcium. sooo its going to be hard to give up drinking for me because I really like healthy bones
Next person to mention giving up alcohol gets banned! LOL.I usually am good for a few glasses of wine each week, or more...I've cut back drinking on weekdays so now it is pretty much a weekend thing aside from wine or a beer here and there if need be. I only really drink water aside from alcohol. Not drinking during the week does make a difference though.
To get that last bit of fat off is going to require a very restrictive diet along with rigorous exercise. Maybe read up on what a body builders diet consists of before a competition. My guess is it would be ultra-low fat intake.

Where would you want the transfer? If your talking about the anterior thoracic region you may want to reconsider as with time it leads to back issues and we all know what happens when gravity takes over.

Well I've been on my new diet and still working out. I eat a bunch of small meals throughout the day, like a yogurt in the morning, a cereal bar between that and lunch, soup or something light for lunch, with a few pretzel rods or animal crackers (keeping in the serving size limits). Then a fruit snack or type of granola end of work day. I hit the gym and then have some dinner, whatever is being made, but in portion.I also have pretty much stopped drinking on weekdays, weekends only. So far it seems I am dropping pounds. It's early but its getting harder to pinch an inch. I'm psyched to see what the end of the week brings for a weigh in. I was given insight to eating this way as it boosts metabolism and keeps you at a constant all day without going through hunger pains and gorging. Plus it keeps me at or under 2000 calories a day, not counting the 300-500+ I burn at the gym 6 days a week.
Good job! Also avoid white breads/rice/pastas. Switch to wheat bread/brown rice/wheat pastas- Organic even better! It's bad enough when you don't know the country of origin of the grains and what pesticides they spray on their crops...whether they are banned here or not
I found that Dr. Mercola (www.mercola.com) has a lot of common-sense advice about many health matters, including diet. It's not just how much food you eat, WHAT you eat has a lot to do with it. Medications you may be taking also affect your ability to gain/lose weight.

I have a friend who has absolutely no (removed) and she would probably want some too. LOL It's not that crazy. Some women have flat butts and it makes it hard to buy pants because most women don't.
