USB, definitely notAs for aux in, if you don't see one right on front, you don't have one. It wouldn't be in back or anywhere else other than the front face.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
If you have a single CD model, you can get an adapter for a line-in. I have one in my Vibe and one in my girlfriend's Vibe and they work quite well. FM transmitter quality is kinda poor, particularly if you live in a larger city with a crowded FM band.
I agree, use a wired transmitter. They plug into your radio and the radio ant. plugs into the unit. They have a few preset bands you can use or the better ones have about 110 stations you can choose from. I installed mine so cleanly, I made the iPod wire come out of the center console and I just keep the unit in there out of sight or it sets in the little depression just in front of the center arm rest.Get a good set of wires and use the bottom iPod jack and not the headphone plug, you can set it up to charge as it plays. The whole set up for this was about $50 or so.The broadcast transmitters quite frankly suck, sound poor and stations are always being over run by another as you travel about. A real pain. The Feds regulate the broadcast strength and what they allow is so weak it is barely worth bothering with. Don't waste your money on any broadcast unit. I've got two used ones you can have! I found out how bad they are the expensive way!Dave
