Got backed into by a very large truck in walmarts parking lot. Luckily they had a trailer hitch and the damage was very localised. I thought since I was replacing the hood I'd go with a bit of an upgrade. I've got to say I love the look of the hood, its not too over the top. I have to give a shout out to ls1_98 ebay member for the genvibe discount and super fast shipping.
Only damage was to the hood I take it. Are those hood top vents functional or just for looks?

I agree with Lowincash. Normally I think scoops look dumb. That is the nicest one I have ever seen. Great choice gottabstick. HawaiiPontiacLover: As for shipping to Hawaii, I would think NUMMI could toss one out into San Fran Bay and float one out to you!! Oh yeah, that salt water thing!!
that's the best looking hood out there for th vibe... too bad its so hard to find! glad you got it, stickby the way, jake, its a fully functional ram air hood. the original came with an intake that fit plumb with the hood.

Thanks all. Yeah I have to say this looks so natural on the 03 GT shouldve came out like this stock. I like how theyre so subtle and stylish, some of the other scoops are too in your face for my liking. They've done a great job with making the scoops fit in with the existing curves of the car, it kinda looks like the G8s little bro. Definately worth the $800. The wife agrees too, which is nice because I promised we wouldn't put a dime into this car other than for maintainance. Now I've been hooked by the mod bug though. Please oh god of craigslist, bring to me a beautiful set of 18s w/rubber for under $700
I guess I'm in the minority here, but I've never been a big fan of a scoop hood on the vibe. Dunno why, this one reminds me of Jabba the Hutt's nostrils.but I'm also a big nerd, so don't mind me .
