Just took off the headliner to take care of a leak supposedly caused by the drainage tubes from the sunroof. that however is not the case.... I am running out of daylight and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions before i button her back up. I really dont want to have to go to the stealership and pay out the *** for them to tell me it was just the drainage tubes even after i have already ruled them out.PLEASE pm me.
Can't help you locate the leak, but I would either leave it apart until you get a good rain and see where it's coming from, OR get your quarters together and head to the car wash. Get someone to hose it off while you look for the leak. You already have it apart, might as well look for the cause...

I seem to remember a TSB that involved water leaks that were coming from the seams in the roof as well (under the plastic trim and roof rack kind of thing.) I'd say start pouring water all over the roof and see if anything leaks out!

i would leave it out and take it threw the car wash a few times to see if you see any leaks or take a hose to it with someone watching inside the car.Simply tape up the lights and rebolt the seatbelt anchors and you can drive the car. I did lol

I had a problem with the drainage tubes also. One genvibe member suggested pouring water into the drain tubes, then check under the car to see if the water is coming out of all of the drains under the car--there's a post I believe saying where to look for those.I did that and noticed that it wasn't really coming out of the back passenger side tube. I took off the back side panel (passenger side)--really simple--and saw that the drainage tube (blue if I remember) was kinked, blocking the water. I took some duct tape and small piece of wood and taped it around that area so it wouldn't kink anymore. Haven't had a problem since. I would try that--good luck!
well its been a long time but ive finally remembered to post the outcome of my little problem. I did nothing really. but it doesnt leak anymore. so i guess i did something. lol thanks to everyone for the support and suggestions
