New Wheel & Tire Combo

Post by ~MRVIBE2006~ »

I was thinking (I know, a scary thought itself!) about getting a new wheel and tire combo for the summer. Here's what I was thinking. A wheel and tire package from our friends at Tirerack:ASA wheel with athracite accents and machined lip:The new Goodyear Eagle GT:The wheel/tire combo would be 18" with 235 or 245/40/18.Any opinions? Plus if I decide to do this, I will have my TC rims and tires up for sale (Price to be determined later). Thanks in advance!

I have always liked that style wheels. It would look good on your Abyss Vibe.

Cool. Thanks for the responses. The tire/wheel combo would be around $1400.00 total shipped. I think that's a good deal because the closest thing that discount tire has would be around $1600+. What ya think about the Eagle GT tires though? Have seen some good reviews about them plus I like the looks of them too. They say that they're an all season tire but I would only use them as a summer tire. Opinions?

you can get the rims from tirerack... but check out tiresavings.com I will be running the very same size tire this summer, I plan on running the federal tires seen on that web page. 80. bucks a tire. I would bet any amount of money that the federals handle 10times better than the goodyears
