Quaker Steak Car Show in Pittsburgh

Post by GT_03 »

Does anyone know when the car shows start at Quaker Steak & Lube this year. I love going at least once every 2 weeks. Nothing like a nice Sunday evening checking out some of the baddiest cars and trucks i have ever seen.

I use to go the the robinson twn. area show, where everyone gathered by the sams club parking lot? They were great, a good disversity of rides (I hung w/ the subie group, silver wrx, 18' prodrives and prodrive lights). And the crannberry one on bike night (red yamaha v-star)Now I live/work in the sharon PA area (actually can see QSL form my building). If your heading out to any of these give me a shout. I'd like to see some other vibes! All I've done so far is 18's and eibachs, but I've only had the car a week and a half.

If some of you guys are going, I'll go some night, too. I haven't been to a QSL cruise night yet, but I've been wanting to go. I can get to the Robinson and Cranberry ones pretty easily. Robinson is only about 15 minutes away for me. I'd love to see a few other of our Vibes out there as well, but my only mods so far are carbon fiber dash trim and GrafxWerks badge overlays so I don't think I'd really be in the show myself.

Which location are you going to? I might be able to make it for this Sunday (June 8th). Let me know and I might see you there. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I was on vacation to Florida last week (didn't take my Vibe, I flew).

I got the chance to drive a blue EVO last week all I can say is sweeeeeeeeeeeetttttttt! Box stock the lag is no where near as bad as a scoobie.I thought the color sucked but dam I'd drive one if it were titty pink w/ a nipple on the hood (hehehe).

Hey WRX, would you maybe be interested in bringing your Vibe down to Robinson this Sunday for the QSL show, if you are able to? I will most likely be there this time, weather permitting. If you can make it, you would probably be the third Vibe there this weekend.

I'm going to be there Sunday June 22, 2003. If anyone wants to meet befroe the show, we can do that. I always bring tons of cleaner with me to get the bug guts off and give it a quick once-over. If anyone wants to meet at like 5:30 pm somewhere. IM me and i'll give you my cell-phone number so we can hook up. I've been there almost evey weekend and so far i'm the only Vibe. I think it would be awesome if me, Stang2Vibe, and WRX-2-Vibe all meet up because we have a Base, GT, and AWD. I think it would be sweet if we all were parked together.e what you guys think.

Who has the base Vibe?We will have to check the weather as the weekend approaches. I will double check my schedule with my g/f's too because she wanted to go with me and get some wings. But it looks so far like I should be able to go. I'll have to remember to bring my digital camera if I can make it so we can post some pics.

I had fun even though things got kinda messed up with moving the show and all. It was great to meet some nice members of GenVibe and we all got to see some of the cool stuff that we've done to our Vibes and talk about our future mods. I had a good time and look forward to meeting more Vibe owners in the future as well as seeing these members and their cars again. Anyone in the area is more than welcome to join us on Sunday evenings at the shows. It is nothing formal, just wash your car and show up. I'd like to see a few more members there. This week's show was kinda neat because we had 3 Vibes; one red, one white, and one blue. Nice and patriotic. A pic of it will be posted soon.
