Help with tint

I decided I want to get my windows tinted this summer. I think it will look good with the abyss colour, eventual painted black headlight housing and tinted tails. Any suggestions on what perent tint I should get? I was thinking 20 for rear windows and hatch, and I don't know what for driver and passenger windows. I want something that won't be too dark for visibility issues. I do a lot of night time driving and a lot of it is on unlit back roads.If it makes any difference when giving me feedback, I have a sunroof that lets in more light.Here's some pics of my car (more in my garage):

do you have tint laws?If you do, i would say 35% all the way around. That should help minimize your "stand out like a sore thumb" lookI have 20% on mine and you can see what that looks like in my garage thread.

yah just get 20% all around and you won't be disappointed with it. i learned my lesson...i got 35% first time but wasn't happy so ended up redoing it 20% all around and now it's perfect lol black car with black tint looks great and 20% still gives that dark look but it's not too bad at night...i can still see out fine.

I did 20% all around on my 05 abyss and its perfect its not to dark just right too not to be abel to see in.

0%I'm just bitter. Some kid in a Mustang sideswiped me because he couldn't see out of his hatch with the tint level.

i plan on retinting my windows this summer im going 20% on all windows except the front driver an passenger because i cant get away with that here in RI

Mine is 20% all around as well. Looks great on my '06 Abyss, haven't had any issues with it here in Oregon. Even 30% just seemed way to light.

no problems at night seeing out the rear or sides...I would prefer the tint to be darker on bright sunny days...

Some Canadian car and tinting forums say 35% front doors and anything on the rear doors and back windows. Seems like Canadian laws are a bit vague and open to interpretation by police on the front windows. You could get 20% all around and never have an issue or you could run into a cop having a bad day and have to take it off the day after you get it tinted.I think that is pretty much like Oregon tint laws. Had my tint for about a year and so far I have not had any issues with police, but it's the luck of the draw. I took the risk because I wanted the blacked-out look as well.

id sue the (removed) out of the mustang kid.I got mine done in 15% all around today, even the front visor. The cav is done in 30% front and 15% rear.dang how do I post a pic?

I got 15% in the back and 20% on front doors. My truck is 20% all around. 35% on the front is the law in Quebec. It's not a problem unless you're pimpin' and street racin' in a fart-cannon Civic.'06 Abyss
