Vegas T-40 days and counting!!!

Post by Whelan »

Can't wait, never been. Me and my buddy are heading out there for 7 nights. We got airfare and the stay at MGM Grand for $615 each. That includes the air, 7 night stay, and shuttle service to and from the hotel and taxes. What a deal!Short story to be told. The girl I was dating dumped me about 4 days ago. Yeah, go figure. She gave a lame excuse about moving to fast but I have my own theories. It was a very emotionless breakup for her. Guess she has some more maturity to go through. So I am taking a hiatus from relationships altogether, hitting up Vegas since we both have never gone out there, then when I get home, moving into an apartment somewhere nearby. Cheers!

You got a heck of a deal on that trip! Hope you and your buddy have a blast down there. The wife and I were planning on going to vegas until the dollar dropped to where it is. Guess we'll just take a few more ski trips instead.

As a LV veteran, here's a list of must see things which cost nothing or very little (in no order):1. go observe the kitty cats on the ground level of your hotel2. walk through the Venetian3. walk along Freemont Street after dark4. watch the water fountain/music at the Bellagio5. watch the Volcano at the Mirage6. walk through the gardens at the Bellagio7. drive to the Hoover Dam and explore8. play skee ball at Circus Circus and take in the free circus acts while you play9. stand in line at one of two kiosks on the strip and buy discounted tickets to a show10. walk through Cesar's Palace and see the Fire and Ice showHave a great time! I'm jealous.

Not sure if we are getting to shows, might be too drunk for that.I do plan on going to Hoover Dam one afternoon. I am plannin on doing an exotic rental. Know of any good places I can pickup a Ferrari or Lambo convertible for a few hours at a good rate, LOL. Best I found was 550 for a ferrari spyder and 750 for a gallardo. Pick that bad boy up and cruise to the damWe wanna hit up Ghost Bar, Rain, a bunch of other places like Hard Rock and stuff. We will be all over.

Sounds like fun. I'm headed to Vegas about the same time for work. It isn't that far for me though, only about 2 hours.

I hear Hertz has a new years special on Aston Martins j/kdreamcarrentals.com has some okay prices. $389 for a 911, $279 for an Elise, $379 for a Viper...No affiliation, yadda yadda yadda. Just did some googling.
