front wiper problem

Post by mike0179 »

Hello everyone, I own a 03, awd vibe, and recently my front passenger side wiper wont start on its own. i have to help it to get going by pushing it with my hand. once i do this it will continue to run on its own. thanks, mike

sounds like the motor isnt powerful enough anymore to get it going or is the blade stuck/frozen to the windshield?

on my Mercury the linkage was plastic and wore out like you describe. I had to get new motor and all. The dealer did not sell just the linkage.
