So i decided to make the plunge and get a remote starter for my Vibe.I took my car in at 830am and was ensured that the new vibe uses the same bypass as the old one so i finished work at 5 and thought it was weird they didn't call me when it was done. I get there and see my car pull out and low and behold WRONG bypass. It will take 10-14 days to get the proper one and its been COLD here lately.Phew sorry guys just had to vent Make sure if your getting your 09 vibe done that they are positive its the right one.
Wonder what bypass module they are using? One of the most common in the industry in Canada is the Fortin bypass modules. The one used in the Vibe is common with all the Toyota Ford and Mazda products just has to be flashed program to the car via of the net. Just talked to one of the guys from Fortin at home No back orders there on the shelf. Also talked to one of the purchasing guys at one of the major distributors for the modules in eastern Canada. Should be plenty on their shelves as well.

If we consider that the original post is almost a year old, I'm sure they've figured out which bypass to use. I have the Xpresskit XK05 in my car. It works fine, but I didn't like that it requires running wires into the engine bay (which only matters to the installer, of course).
