Recovering

Post by joholste »

For those of you that know me you may recall that when i came back from deployment i was having shoulder problems. Well yesterday i had surgery to repair my rotator cuff. I am in pain but am happy because this means that my pain will go away in the future and i won't be dealing with this shoulder anymore. I am recovering quite well except for my dog who wants to make me feel better but keeps bumping into my bad arm

yeah as the days are going by I can't tell if i'm getting better or not i find myself in more and more pain. I really can't wait for this pain to go away and to be off the percocet, I was however finally able to sleep a little bit on my bed last night for the first time, as i have been forced to sleep on the couch up until now

I have had to keep the shoulder elevated above my heart to prevent swelling and the couch allows me to have better back support to sit up.
