2003 Vibe Steering Wheel emblem

Hello friends:My first post here. I recently bought a used 2003 Pontiac Vibe. The Pontiac emblem on the steering wheel is missing. I checked the VIN report before I bought the car, it says no accidents and it doesn't appear so (airbag is intact). The sellers told me that it was the way when they bought it. I asked the dealership here and they told me that I will have to buy the entire airbag kit ($1200) to get the logo. They or OEMs do not sell it standalone.I was wondering if you know any OEM that sells it. I could not find it on eBay. If someone has it removed from their own Vibe and are not using it, can I buy it? Welcome! I wonder what the previous owners know about this, I haven't heard anyone have one of these emblems just fall off. Sounds fishy. They could have wrecked it and somehow not reported it. They do sell fake air bag covers that do not have any sort of logos on them and they also make modules that can be hooked up to trigger the air bag light on and then off at ignition on to make the light look like it's operating normal... And crooks are even getting pretty good about mending broken covers after a deployment to make it look like nothing has happened. Hopefully that is not the case!Not sure where you could get the emblem aside from ordering a whole new air bag assembly as the dealer suggests... Other than searching junkyards for them. But I'm not sure how they stick those down at the factory, you wouldn't want it to take off flying should the air bag deploy and it wasn't held on good enough.

When I swapped mine out it was mangled. Its really in there hard and its made of tin or aluminum so bends easily. I swapped mine for the TRD steering wheel sticker that fits perfectly in the center. You can find it on ebay. 3 years and counting and it has not fallen off. Probably cheaper too.

Thanks Tonnyk! But, this is a vinyl overlay over an existing steering wheel emblem, isn't that correct? My issue is that the emblem cap is completely missing.

this is your lucky day, I removed mine and replaced it with a toyota emblem b/c I am making my vibe a toyota voltz clone. I will sell the orignal just make me an offer, It is easy to replace and I can write up a email describing how to go about it.
