2005 Vibe w/ M&T Suggestions
I just got my 2005 Vibe AWD w/ M&T. I'm considering getting the following:- 4 x JBL Grand Touring Series GTO637- either a Sony CDX-GT630UI or Kenwood DPX503 head unitI'd like to be able to plug in an iPod and control it using the head unit. Future extensibility is important, as I might decide to add HD radio or Satellite radio at some point. I may add a small sub in the future, but I want to start with replacing the speakers and the head unit first. I like the display on the Kenwood better, but I wonder where I'll be able to put the iPod. Since the Sony unit is smaller, the mounting bracket provides a space for it.I've also been tossing around the idea of getting JBL's 2-way component (Grand Touring Series GTO607C) for the fronts, but I'm a bit hesitant. 1) Will I have space for the crossover somewhere in the door?2) How will the sound of the 2-way component be, as compared to the coaxial 3-way?Any suggestions?
