2009 awd with aftermarket remote start

I just had an aftermarket remote start installed. Cost including tax $349 cdn. It is an Autostart AS-1775. I didn't need to buy a transponder key as they used a module made by i-data....at any rate it works like a charm....it has a range of 2200 meters....hope I never have to test that....Just wanted all you guys and gals in the north to know that it can be done at a fair price without the transponder key. cheers,John

Yeah, the transponder is actually really easy to get around these days... It's really a false sense of security, because if a car theif is really after the car, they bring the proper tools..
