It seems to help a little bit, as I felt the rear wheel brakes making adjusting.... I was making a left turn and the car was sliding forward...

That is curious - If it was your brakes, then that is ABS coming on. How did you know it was the traction control that came on? Maybe both kicked in. Were you braking at the time or was your foot on the accelerator?

Anyways to turn the warning off? When I was driving home one day, I made a quick right hand turn to initiae a right hand turn. I guess I hit a patch of sand and started to understeer. All of a sudden, I saw the yellow "car slipping" light flash and heard the annoying seatbelt chime start beeping. The car grabbed on to the right rear wheel with the ABS system and corrected my understeer and helped my car rotate a bit faster to get back on track. I must say, I was pretty impressed with the system.BTW, I have no idea about turning off the warning sound. I wish I could turn it off, it is very annoying.

My collegue at work told me he didn't hear any beeping sound.... So either he didn't hear it or there is a way to turn off the beep.... Anyone know the answer???
