I want to know if anyone has had any negative experiences by dropping their vibe the 2 inches a sportline kit drops it. Also I'm looking for the best price on any brand of springs.
I paid $US143 for my 2" drop Teins, but I don't have them in yet.BTW, I've heard no mention on the forum of the need to cut bump rubbers when using drop springs, as described in my instructions. Wonder if the reason some people are unhappy with the ride is that this step was overlooked?
yes. but a lot of people dont read directions, and some cheaper springs dont come with any.
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!
I got mine from: http://www.optauto.com/webstore/ They have a least 4 different brands plus coilovers, etc. They look very nice (& very GREEN!), and I have heard from other import owners that they are big on the Japanese market. This weekend, weather and free time appear at last to be in sync, so I hope to get them installed! -Will post results.
The Tein springs are the best prices springs currently out for the Vibe or the Matrix. They look awesome but will definately wear out your struts/shocks faster. KYB told me that they will not have aftermarket strut/shocks out for our cars until Fall of 2004. I can only imagine when we will get aftermarket strut/shocks... Because I am going to have to get any of this stuff done at my friends or a shop, I am just going to buy the Tein coilovers and save the hassle in the long run.-Slink
