Got Accepted!

Well, recently I scheduled an administrator meeting with the Art Institute of Philadelphia. I got a letter last night from them expecting it was a reminder about the meeting. I opened it with the first words 'Congratulations Kevin, You have got an early acceptance to...'. I was sooo happy, thats a load off my back, now I can focus on other things, like scholarships. The Art Institute isn't cheap.

Thank you, and July. Not much of a summer break. =[ But at least its cheaper and will get me out sooner.No vibe though, Im going to rockin a bike. =p

Congratulations. You must be gifted to be accepted into an art program. I work with stylists (automotive) who followed your path, and I am always amazed at their talents.Best of luck to you!

ugh im so effin JEALOUS! that is my DREAM school. I still have the application in my file cabinet. I wanted to go for Photography. Have a chance to intern for a pulitzer prize winning photographer. unfortuately i did not qualify for any scholarships and have NO MONEY. so now i work at Kodak and have photography as my hobby. Anyways what I mean to say is congratulations! Be sure to constantly post pictures of your work on here.

Congrats! Private art schools are tough to get in to and expensive.I considered the Ringling School of Design and Art Center, but I couldn't swing the money per year, and I didn't want to end up in LA or FL.What type of art program are you majoring in? I'm currently a graphic design major, though I'm still a few semesters short of graduation.

A friend of mine in high school went to The Art Institue Of Pittsburgh. Great school.

I am either going to major in Advertising or Graphic Design, I am going to talk to the administrator thursday about it, see which program is better for me. And thanks everyone for the congrats. I will be leaving the vibe at home =[ and will be getting a bike.

Congrats.Some advice:Apply for all the scholarships you can and fill out FASA Infor on 1-1-2009 to get the max amount as all will help pay for tuition.
