Ah man, the first big step into the real world. I just sent my application to the art institute of Philadelphia. Sadly, I wont be bringing 'The Viberator' (What my friends decided to call it due to the subs). But its sad, I wanted to do a lot of stuff to my car. What should I do? Sell it? Keep it at home for when I come home for the 1 month summer break? grr.
Well, its not that. But my parents dont want me too. Its right in the middle of the city. And there isnt a designated spot to park the car. Especially not my first year.

why would you sell it?You have a perfectly fine car and it's safer to keep at your parents house and still be able to use it when you go home on breaks.

I paid for half of it. Sooooo, its kinda a tricky situation. But I'm going to an expensive college, and our summer break is only a month long. But I think ill keep it. Especially since ill need a car after I graduate till I make the big bucks.

The car will only depreciate, even (especially?) if it's not being driven. Either your parents use it (and have to keep it insured) or it sits and essentially rots. On the other hand, if you sell it now (fuel efficient cars are still in demand, and credit is still available) you could invest the money (something safe like T-bills or CDs at a highly-rated local bank) and then have more money to get a nicer car when you're ready. With the current financial situation, you won't regret having liquid assets. It's still your decision.
