Okay.. so long story short something ridiculously stupid happened, it was my fault, and I already feel uber bad about it. I need to replace the passenger side door because where the fender and the door meet, the front of the door is peeled back a bit, and, well, it looks terrible. So I need to replace it. I was hoping I could find something online to order parts, but no one seems to deal in exterior pieces unless it's bumper/fender skins. I want to replace the outer panel of the door, if not I guess I will just replace the entire thing. Is there anywhere online I can do it? I checked ebay and that's a no go.The color doesn't really matter, my dad does a LOT of painting on autos and can do that part for me, but the panel is the important part. I already have a mirror on the way because that was gone too. Is the wiring a pain on that? I figure I should be able to figure it out okay. I just feel bad driving around with a jacked up car I love, please help ThanksBrandon.
well. definitely take pictures. sounds to me like you had the door open and drove it into something in reverse or had someone hit the door. ive actually done both and had to replace the entire door both times. pretty simple for the most part. just find a jnkyad that has a vibe with the same iterior trm and options as yours. pretty much pug and play from there as far as i know.
If you can't find something locally, you might try http://www.car-parts.comI found a replacement front fender and side light fixture through them for our previous NUMMI product (Nova) and it worked out very well - especially since I was able to get a good color match.
actually, no... I managed to rub something parked the wrong way. Luckily the delivery truck was okay As for me.. I definately to need a new door, and a new sense of how wide the Vibe is >.< I hope that if I go to a U-pull it it will be cheaper than car-parts $400 for a door hurts my feelings really. Poo. Okay, well thanks for the info guys, car-part definately has what I am looking for I just wish it was cheaper. If not, well then I guess I'll just have to pay cash for it. Still cheaper than my $1000 deductable. I hate being under 25.
