bondjames - 2005 Salsa Vibe w/ Moons and Tunes

Post by bondjames »

Just found this forum after owning this used '05 Vibe for 1.5 years. Bought it with 100K miles on it, now has almost 116K miles on it. Still like new, love this car! Already had the window deflectors when I got it, I added some small superman symbol chrome decals to the back side windows, because this color of red reminds me of the darker red superman cape in "Superman Returns". I'm so happy to find this forum! After reading this forum I disabled the seatbelt beep, removed the pink pontiac badge from the back hatch (was it always pink or is it faded?), and ordered the taller split level arm rest from Toyota. Thanks guys!

Welcome and I like your Vibe of Steel driven by a fan of the Man of Steel. Salsa is a great color too and it does match his cape. I like the way you shared what you've learned here and put into action for your Vibe. Have you read about the cabin air filters (behind your glovebox)? It's also interesting to look over pictures in the GenVibe garage forum for ideas.

Nice car. 116K miles and it looks like new. These cars are tough, will last a long time and wear like 'Steel', if you just make the recommended maintenance. Welcome to the forum!
