Wipers?

Post by DopeVibeGT »

Ok, this isnt a Vibe question, but it is a Toyota question. Does anyone know what would cause the int. wipers to stop working and for the wipers not returning to 'down' when you turn them off, they just stop where you turn them off at. We've figured it isnt the switch. We hooked it up to another car and it worked fine. Is there a relay or some other circuit somewhere that is causing this? It's on a 97 Camry.I found several people asking this same exact question on various other boards, but no answers.

On another car I had, the circuit to let the wipers go to their normal rest position was built into the motor mechanism.

Thanks for the links, Bull. But not the problem he's having. Quote, originally posted by prathman »On another car I had, the circuit to let the wipers go to their normal rest position was built into the motor mechanism.Thats what I'm thinking. Thanks. I'll have to look at the motor.
