You should have plenty of fun with that car. Can't tell you much except that the fuel economy with the 2.4L engine is decent.I assume you are normally speaking French. Your English is just fine.

I've also got the 2.4 manual. As far as MPG's go, My best is 26.2, worst is 24.2. Average of all my fill-ups is 25.2. Keep in mind I've done zero highway driving (little over 1,100 miles on the car) - all rural/suburban.

U.S. E.P.A. fuel economy numbers for your 2.4L 5 speed manual Vibe are 21mpg city and 28mpg highway. Not too bad for a 2.4L. What you actually get for gas mileage (KM/Liter) will be up to you, how you drive, where you drive and things like tire pressure, alignment, maintenance, etc. One thing for sure, up where you live you will do much better in Summer than Winter. From what I've heard, the 2.4L engine is pretty smooth and responsive. I'm sure you will like it. Post some pictures of your new Vibe when you finally get it. Welcome to Vibedom! Bienvenu.

I like the car a lot so far, always a pleasant drive. I keep a log of my mileage. My worst mileage so far was 21.55 MPG (10.91 L / 100km) almost all city driving while on vacation in Lake George, NY. My best was 33.67 MPG (6.99 L / 100 km), all on the highway between Quebec City and Montreal, at 120 km/h. My regular mileage (I drive 70 km back and forth on my way to work every day, about 70% highway/30% city, at 105 km/h or so) is 28-29 MPG (8.4 -8 L / 100 km). BTW, be aware that in Quebec, when you hear about mileage in MPG, they always use the imperial gallon (which is 4.55L), not the US one (which is 3.78L). That's why the Vibe is advertised to do more than 40 MPG...I think the engine is nervous enough for me. It has that extra "bite" I sometimes need on the highway. And it tows very well, trailing my tent-trailer with the family of 4 was no problem at all.So, I think you'll be happy with your new Vibe.

I just bought a 2009 2.4 manual for towing motorcycles. The last 2 tanks I got 32 MPG on New England mountain roads. This was during the break-in period.
