HID Question for 09' Vibe...

Hey guys, I've just joined your club...just ordered my 09' Vibe today!! I'm about to order 9006 Low beam HID kit, and I was wondering if the DRL is the low beam bulb?? cause if it is I have to get something else to regulate the voltage, rite? Thanks a lot!!

the 09's have the DRL on the high beams.

Yup it runs off the high beams so no need to get the harness

You can get a kit for $70 on Ebay, I got mine there, granted they were for a Matrix, but the 05 Matrix uses 9006 low beam and fog lamps. When a car has a 9006 low beam they will have a separate 9005 high beam lamp as well. Typically a DRL system will run off of those at a lower wattage. No harness, it will plug right in, just be sure you mount the ballasts in a good spot. Take your time with the install as well. I Also disconnected my DRL system and the headlight sesnsor that turns them on at night automatically. I can't stand either. Oh and my $70 kit has been running strong for at least 6 months now with no issues.

No...GM Dealer hasn't been able to get the car for me yet...sux!

LOL he has new lights, but no car to put them on. Reverse processing is awesome!
