Paint Information?

Hi all! I am the new owner of a 2004 Pontiac Vibe, it runs great and interior still looks new. My problem is that there is a small scratch on the hood and I would like to paint over it before it starts rusting.I was told I could find the paint info on the spare cover tire, but it does not seem to be there. Is there any other way or any other place to get the #wa.... ? Thanks
