Hello everyone. I am a new owner of a used 2007 automatic (Wave?) Blue Vibe. Bought it used with 29K. Love it so far. On my first cross country trip I got 38.11 mpg @ 70mph with the AC on. Pretty incredible. I was shocked that that little 4-banger could get such good mileage.Anyways. Great forum you all have here. Been reading a lot about the car.Cheers.

By the way... I programmed a second remote on my vibe today. I found the directions on this site. Worked perfectly and took less than two minutes. ANd I didn't get robbed by the dealer.

Welcome and congrats on the purchase!A 1.8L base engine doesn't need much fuel to keep things in motion once it's rolling. I've gotten as high as 41 mpg over a 300 mile trip, drafting a high profile vehicle driven by someone I know and trust (but still at a safe distance). Gas mileage starts to go way down if you cruise above 3000 rpm (around 75MPH).
My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.
