Tire Pressure Monitor 2009

Post by 2009GT »

My TPMS light came on today for the first time. The weather is about 20 degress cooler today and I think that might have caused it. Anyways I looked in the manual to see how to reset the TPMS and it says to hold the reset button and the light will blink 3 times, but how long do I hold the button? (Until it starts to blink or while its blinking) Also it says to leave the car in ACC/ON for a few minutes before turning the car off, how long is a few minutes cause I did it for 4-5 minutes and the light still did not go off.

I haven't reset mine since I actually had a tire going flat but if I remember correctly, I had the car ignition ON and I held the reset button IN and about 5 seconds later it will blink once....twice......three times. Then it will not blink any longer. I just hit the reset buttone quickly once more for good luck and that was it.
