Motorized bicycle rev2

My son's friend Karl has been inventing again.Add a used pocket bike to a used mountain bike, add a little welding, some ingenuity, and you get a 50kmh/30mph transport device.I took it for a short ride, it's a hoot!The whole bike: The drive parts:How it attaches to the bike:The throttle control:

Safe? kind of.Fun? yup.Legal? probably not.Although he already has an excuse if he gets stopped, to say it's a motorized trailer.

pretty cool Idea. I was wondering about the bike in the backround is it an optical illusion or is the front tire bigger than the rear?
