First exterior detail - Wednesday

Post by Blueridge9 »

Hi,After 2 years of washing and waxing the Vibe myself I'm gonna turn it over to a pro for ONCE! I bought some GM touch up paint for some small chips in the front and on the door guards. I'm splurging to have a pro do the touch ups and completely clean the exterior tomorrow/Wednesday. They were rec'mn by a guy I know at a local body shop.I saw some other cars they did and they looked GREAT!I can't wait to see how it turns out.

My pricing tends to be slightly higher, but in my area I can charge more. Heck no need to pay all that cash to someone else. Just flip through the pages here and check out my posts. You can be a DIY detailer just like the pros.

Soon I will start raising the price slowly as the word of that 'great 17 year old detailer' gets out. =p I got almost all of my information from my dad.

Wow, they did a great job! It looks awesome. My friend drove me over after work and she was amazed too. The guy who worked on my car was very proud of the results. They got rid of the old wax that had gathered and whitened in some of the scratches on the front nose. All the chips are less noticeable too with the touch up paint. The side mirrors and window trim is black again as are the sides of the tires. I'm very happy. It's like magic. They also did another car that was faded pink and made it a shiny red again.I have read through Whelan's info. and did buy some Meguir's products so I'll try to do a better job myself at keeping it up in the future.
