My wife and I love our 07 vibe and love the oudoorsas well. We live in upstate NY about 30 miles north of Syracuse. She has 3 kids form her first husband and we have one of our oun. 21,19 15 and ours is almost 3 Thanks for any info and i look forward to being a part of the genvibe gang!!!!

Under 1500lbs is recommended but I think you could get away with 1585lbs if you take it easy (which I'm sure you would). If you have an automatic transmission I would highly recommend a tranny cooler.

Make sure that if it's an automatic to turn the overdrive off or you will have one toasty tranny...

I agree and would pull it with the O.D. off unless real flat and no shifting back and forth.

Towing capacity is 1500, so that extra 85 probably isn't gonna be an issue. Wether or not you have an auto tranny, keeping it out of overdrive while towing, I would say you shouldn't have any problems. I'm sure, loaded up with the gear and some of the clan you will feel it. Getting a trans cooler will be something you should seriously consider. Here is something you may be interested inhttp://www.onlinesports.com/pa...0-TOY which is also available for the vibe. Not as a replacement, for the camper but additional space, for a larger group.

i hope you're going in 2 cars ! The passenger loading combined with the trailer would probably be a no-no, but the trailer by itself should be OK, marginally.
